Overview

A Statement of Comparability is a certificate that shows how international qualifications compare to the UK education systems. The UK's education systems include England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The Statement gives international qualifications context when applying for jobs, studies or professional registration in the UK. Show the Statement of Comparability with your original qualifications.

Warning This is a chargeable service. The fee paid covers the evaluation of your qualifications to establish if you are eligible for a Statement. We will advise you if you are eligible or not. This service is non-refundable once we have started reviewing your application.

Who can get a Statement of Comparability

This service is for people with international qualifications to compare their qualifications to the UK education systems.

The service can be used for academic, vocational and some professional qualifications.

We can also provide comparisons and credit information for some incomplete or partially documented qualifications, micro-credentials and short courses.

What you will get

The Statement will include:

  • your full name
  • your UK ENIC reference number (a unique 10-digit number which is also on your ENIC portal homepage)
  • the name, country, year and awarding school of each international qualification
  • how the qualifications compare to the UK education systems
  • UK qualification comparisons (where applicable)
